Team members deliver food to more than 50 VFW establishments, American Legions and military bases across the country in honor of U.S. veterans

This Veterans Day, Cannon Group team members showed their appreciation to veterans from more than 50 Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) locations, American Legions and U.S. military bases across the country.

The private telecom management firm, headquartered in Blue Bell, Pa., provided a variety of pizzas, tomato pies, assorted baked goods and candy for its staff members to deliver to as many veteran establishments as possible.

In addition to these deliveries, the Cannon Group team was encouraged to spend the day socializing and getting to know the local U.S. veterans in various locations around their nationwide offices.

More than 30 Cannon Group team members participated in visiting locations across the country, including Pennsylvania — in Philadelphia, King of Prussia, the Poconos, Harrisburg, and Allentown — Decatur, Illinois; Kansas City, Missouri; and the National Guard Base in Helena, Montana.

Cannon Group also provided food donations for VFW 3460 (to be served at the VFW’s annual Veteran’s Day luncheon following the town’s Veterans Day parade), as well as the Pennsylvania Veterans Museum in Media, Pa.

Chris Cannon, founder and president of Cannon Group, has been encouraging company-wide Veterans Day events for the past several years. He says that donations and deliveries are a way to dedicate a relatively small amount of time and effort to those who have dedicated their lives to serving their country.

According to Cannon, he’s looking forward to continuing these efforts in the future to benefit U.S. veterans.
